Sky has recently reduced the prices of Apple’s MacBook products to their lowest ever, making them more affordable through a contract deal. For just £20 per month with a £2 upfront fee, you can now get the latest MacBook Air M4 model.
This offer requires signing up for a 48-month contract, resulting in a total cost of £962, which is cheaper than purchasing directly from Apple at £999. Sky also offers upgraded versions with more memory and larger screens, such as the 512GB model for £24 per month and the 15-inch M4 256GB model for the same price.
While these deals provide a convenient payment plan, it’s worth considering other options as well. Apple offers a £100 discount for students, John Lewis sells the device for £899, and Amazon lists the M4 Air for just £859.97, although these require full upfront payment.
The MacBook Air M4 features the new M4 processor, 16GB of RAM, long battery life up to 18 hours, a high-resolution screen, quality sound, and a Force Touch trackpad. Additional features include MagSafe charging, a fingerprint scanner, and Apple Intelligence. The laptop is available in Sky Blue, Midnight, Silver, and Starlight colors.
Express.co.uk noted in their review that the MacBook Air M4 lacks post-purchase upgrade options, has all ports on one side, and can become pricey with extra memory and storage. However, for those content with the base 256GB version, Sky’s deal offers a more manageable way to own a MacBook without overwhelming monthly expenses.
