Love on the Spectrum’s Madison’s romance and life before fame

Must read

Madison Marilla has captured the hearts of viewers in Season 3 of Netflix’s endearing dating show, Love on the Spectrum. Released on April 2, the series introduced fans to the vibrant 27-year-old with a fascination for American Girl dolls.

Diagnosed early on with autism spectrum disorder as well as OCD and ADHD, the new TV personality delved into details about her neurodiversity. Bringing audiences into her first venture into dating, Madison’s journey has been nothing short of captivating.

While some past participants on the show have faced difficulties in finding that special someone, it didn’t take long for Madison to be smitten with DJ Tyler White.

As things currently stand, Madison and Tyler’s relationship is blossoming. They often express their affection on social media platforms, with Madison recently affirming they are ‘happily in love’, reports Surrey Live.

In a heartfelt Instagram video posted on April 13, she shared: “Tyler and I are still happily in love and nearing nine months of us being together, and Tax Day [Tuesday, April 15] will mark nine months.”

She graciously expressed gratitude, stating: “I’d like to say thank you to all the fans, along with my friends and family, who have been giving me a lot of positive support and recognition.”

Yet, there’s more to Madison than just her romantic endeavours. The star also runs her own business.

During her time on the Netflix series, Madison expressed her passion for country music and jewellery. In fact, her love for the latter led to the establishment of her business.

She launched Madizen LLC, a jewellery and accessories brand, back in 2012 and has been at the helm for over a decade.

Before her stint on the popular show, Madison was an activities director at an elementary school in Kingston, Massachusetts, and held various substitute teaching positions prior to that.

In 2024, Madison’s family was hit by a devastating loss due to Hurricane Helene. The lethal storm wreaked havoc on Florida’s Gulf coast in early October, leaving many families homeless.

Among the victims were Madison’s parents, who lost their home in the tropical storm. Following the disaster, Madison posted a photo on Instagram of her mum and dad standing in front of their former home on Florida’s Anna Maria Island.

“Unfortunately my parents lost their home during Hurricane Helene,” she captioned the post.

“But I’m very thankful that my home is still intact and that I didn’t lose power other than a flicker on Thursday night. It will take 6-12 months for my parents to rebuild. I am very thankful for the overwhelming amount of support during this difficult time. Please keep them in prayer,” shared the 27-year-old.

Love on the Spectrum is streaming now on Netflix.
