Celebrity Big Brother is set for yet another twist during tonight’s nominations – with the stars up for eviction being given the chance to win immunity. However, some viewers aren’t too happy with the twist which comes just days before the 2025 final.
In tonight’s episode, the housemates must make face-to-face nominations ahead of Tuesday’s eviction, which will see three stars leave the CBB house. However, those nominated have a chance to win immunity. “One of the nominated housemates is given the chance to save themselves. They must find the one golden egg hidden in a basket at the centre of the room,” ITV teased.
“Find this, and they save themselves. BUT they must choose one of the non-nominated housemates to replace them. Who will be saved? And who is set to face the public vote?”
Some fans aren’t very happy with the immunity twist, with one writing on X: “This is so stupid.” Meanwhile a second said: “No need for the egg twist…just put the nominated housemates up! Doesn’t need the extra dramatics.”
A third tweeted: “They were doing so well.” While another said: “Getting to save yourself from a TRIPLE eviction is a bit much, like this could be boosting someone from 9th to 6th place just because they find an egg. I knew it was all going too well this series #CBBUK.”
Tonight’s episode is set to be a dramatic one, with one star storming out of face-to-face nominations in floods of tears. Teasing the tense nominations, ITV revealed that one housemate finds the process all too much and abruptly runs out of the room in tears.
“Will they be able to pull it together and carry on with the process?” the broadcaster teased.
Meanwhile, Angellica Bell finds herself nominating EastEnders star Patsy Palmer tonight, telling her: “My first nomination is for you, Patsy. You’re my bed buddy. And we’ve grown very close, and shared stories.
“I’ve been told you like to play a massive game. And you come into things with a game plan. And when Daley said that to me, and told me to be careful, I can’t get it out of my head.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Chris Hughes breaks down to Big Brother after being accused of playing a game in his friendship with JoJo Siwa. “I’m exhausted in this house. I think I’m too normal and live a stress-free life. I avoid negative energy in my day-to-day life. And I’m happier for it. I just don’t get it. If you have things to say, just air it,” he said.
“People have made me feel like I can’t have a friendship with JoJo. Or feel like I have to justify a friendship with JoJo – because we get on and we have fun. I’m actually really sad.”
