Star Wars is coming to Fortnite once again in its own season, but you’re going to have to enjoy it quickly, as it turns out that this season won’t last all that long.
Fortnite is about to whisk us away to a galaxy far, far away, and we’re more than happy to simply let it happen. The latest teaser trailer for Fortnite officially revealed that we’ll be getting some Star Wars-infused gameplay and the arrival of Darth Jar Jar in place of the already impressive Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass, and it’s bringing with it skins, items, vehicles and some big new POI alterations for the game. It’s going to be a big deal, and it isn’t far off either as the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 release date approaches quickly.
That doesn’t mean we’ll have long to enjoy it, though, as claims are beginning to circulate as to the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 length, bringing into question just how long we have to eat through the Star Wars quests, cosmetics and experiences. So, when can we expect the doors of eAT-eAT to close? Here’s what you need to know about the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 length.
The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 length is set to be 37 days, taking it to Sunday, June 8. This is based on an early claim from leaker @Guille_Gag, who suggested that the season would run until this date, initially claiming that the season would take place over 35 days, making for a pretty slim Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 length. However, with an expected live event to cap off the season, and a weekend being demanded for the optimum amount of people to enjoy it like Fortnite Remix: The Finale, we can expect that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 will last until the Sunday to give players the chance to watch whatever the game is cooking.
It’s not very long for a season to run, but it seems that Epic Games is banking on the selling power of Star Wars to do a lot of heavy lifting before it heads into something a little more original in the following season. Strap in and get excited, because you’re going to need to move through that Battle Pass quickly.
