A father tragically passed away while vacationing in Turkey with his family on a pirate ship, where witnesses claim he was covered with a towel as the crew continued hosting a foam party. Peter Colville, accompanied by 10 family members, vanished during a boat trip on the luxury vessel Legend Big Kral, which offered entertainment, DJs, snorkeling, and a foam party for around 600 guests.
After disappearing during a swim stop at Cleopatra Beach, Peter was found unconscious in the water by fellow swimmers. Despite efforts to revive him with CPR, he was later pronounced dead at the hospital. His daughter, Nakita Colville, criticized the onboard staff for their lack of urgency and compassion, stating that they appeared indifferent to the situation.
While the family was taken off the boat following the incident, the festivities reportedly continued, further distressing the passengers. Nakita described the chaotic scene where her family was in turmoil while crew members seemed more concerned about the delayed foam party than providing support.
The family, shocked by the sudden loss, struggled to comprehend what had happened, emphasizing that Peter was in good health and would not have knowingly put himself in danger. Investigations into his death, conducted in both Turkey and the UK, have so far yielded no conclusive cause.
Reviews on Tripadvisor echoed the family’s concerns, with guests criticizing the crew’s handling of the emergency as insensitive and unprofessional. Despite the tragic outcome, the boat company, Big Kral Pirate Boats, has not issued any public statements regarding the incident.
The family remains devastated by the loss of their beloved father and grandfather, hoping for a more respectful treatment of the situation aboard the ill-fated cruise.
