Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Welcome Baby Rocki

-

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have joyfully welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Rocki Irish Mayers. The exciting news was shared by Rihanna in a heartwarming Instagram post on Wednesday. The post featured a lovely picture of the 37-year-old star holding the baby girl, accompanied by another image of adorable baby shoes. The caption was sweet and simple, consisting of Rocki’s name, the birth date of Sept. 13, and a ribbon emoji.

The couple revealed their pregnancy during the Met Gala in May, where Rihanna proudly displayed her baby bump in a stylish pinstripe ensemble and a large hat. A$AP Rocky, 36, who co-chaired the prestigious New York City fashion event, expressed his happiness to reporters saying, “It’s time that we show the people what we were cooking up. And I’m glad everybody’s happy for us because we are definitely happy, you know.”

Known for their glamorous pregnancy announcements, Rihanna previously stunned audiences at the 2023 Super Bowl by revealing her baby bump on stage. Their first child, Riot Rose, was born later that year. The couple’s eldest child, RZA, was born in May 2022, marking the beginning of their public relationship in 2020.

The recent addition to their family comes shortly after A$AP Rocky’s acquittal on firearms charges in Los Angeles in February. Rihanna stood by his side throughout the trial, and the emotional moment of his acquittal saw him jumping into her arms. The couple’s two sons were also present during the trial’s closing arguments.

Rihanna, a nine-time Grammy Award winner, boasts an impressive music career with 14 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including popular songs like “We Found Love,” “Work,” “Umbrella,” and “Disturbia.” She is also the founder of the successful makeup brand Fenty Beauty and has showcased her acting skills in movies like “Ocean’s Eight” and the TV series “Bates Motel.”

A$AP Rocky kickstarted his music career in 2011 as part of the hip-hop collective A$AP Mob and achieved success with his debut studio album, “Live, Love, A$AP,” reaching No. 1 in 2013. Nominated for two Grammys, he recently starred alongside Denzel Washington in Spike Lee’s film “Highest 2 Lowest.”
