“Prince Harry and Meghan Share Rare Glimpse of Archie and Lilibet”

-

After years of keeping their children’s identities private online, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have given a rare glimpse of their young kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Using Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex shared a heartwarming peek into their family life, showing their children playing in a pumpkin patch and later carving pumpkins for Halloween.

While many admired Harry’s pumpkin carving skills, it was the direct view of six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lili that captivated viewers, breaking the usual trend of hiding their faces online.

In a fast-paced video of Harry carving a pumpkin, Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet were seen enjoying themselves in the background before turning to face the camera in a unique moment.

Typically, Harry and Meghan shield their children’s faces in online posts using various methods to protect their privacy, such as filming them from behind or concealing their faces with emojis.

Princess Lilibet has rarely been seen publicly, with only a few official photos released by Harry and Meghan a few years ago. Recently, she appeared on Meghan’s Instagram during a family trip to Disneyland, though her face remained hidden.

As for Prince Archie, photos of him were more common when Harry and Meghan were still part of the royal family but ceased after their move to California. Archie’s face hasn’t been shown since the family Christmas card in 2021.

The video release follows Harry and Meghan’s discussion about social media’s risks and its impact on youth during the World Mental Health Day gala in New York, where they were honored with the Humanitarians of the Year award for their advocacy work.

During her speech at the event, Meghan emphasized the importance of safeguarding children like Archie and Lilibet from the pitfalls of the online world, acknowledging the challenges parents face in balancing technology’s benefits and hazards.

Harry joined Meghan on stage, emphasizing the collective responsibility to protect children and support families in navigating the digital age.
