The Princess of Wales has reportedly picked up a new interest that Meghan Markle also enjoys, as shared by one of her mentors.
Kate, a photography enthusiast, has recently delved into meditation under the guidance of the acclaimed artist Chris Levine. Levine, known for his iconic photograph of the late Queen Elizabeth, disclosed Kate’s newfound fascination in a recent interview but then humorously remarked, “I think I’ve said too much!”
In 2004, Levine was tasked with capturing images of the late Queen for Jersey’s celebration of eight centuries of loyalty to the Crown. Among the over 8,000 photos taken, the late monarch selected one entitled ‘Equanimity,’ which Levine transformed into a portrait featured on the cover of Time magazine.
One of the images portrayed the Queen in a serene state with closed eyes, known as ‘Lightness of Being,’ which became a renowned Royal portrait. This particular picture inspired Levine to embrace meditation and subsequently introduce Kate to the practice.
Notably, Kate is not the only Royal member showing interest in meditation. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are also known for their enthusiasm for it.
In 2015, Meghan shared her meditation journey on her former lifestyle blog, The Tig, expressing how it initially seemed daunting but eventually brought her inner peace and happiness. Similarly, Prince Harry revealed in 2022 his morning routine involving meditation during a panel discussion with BetterUp, emphasizing the importance of daily meditation for him.
Meanwhile, Meghan shared a glimpse of her recent date night with Prince Harry at a LA Dodgers game, where they enjoyed the match from prime seats at Dodgers Stadium supporting their home team against the Toronto Blue Jays. The couple appeared affectionate and engaged in the game, showcasing their team spirit. Meghan later posted a video on her Instagram, revealing behind-the-scenes moments of their enjoyable evening at the game.
