“Max Verstappen’s Net Worth Surges to £230 Million”

-

Max Verstappen has seen a significant boost in his estimated wealth, with a rise of nearly £44 million in the last year. This increase has pushed his total net worth to just under £230 million. The Red Bull Racing driver has made impressive strides in the Quote 500, a ranking of the wealthiest individuals in the Netherlands, moving up from 322nd place to 264th.

Despite celebrating his 28th birthday in late September, Verstappen retains his position as the youngest person on the list, a title he has held since his debut in 2022. Initially entering the list as the 500th person with a net worth slightly over £105 million, Verstappen’s ascent has been rapid, climbing to the 428th spot a year later and then jumping up 106 places last year.

The entry threshold for this year’s list stands at just under £123 million, with notable figures like Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk missing the cut. Forbes has ranked Verstappen as the 25th highest-paid athlete globally this year, with earnings close to £59 million, primarily derived from his salary, winnings, and endorsements amounting to £4.5 million.

In comparison, Lewis Hamilton ranks 22nd on the same list, earning just over £60 million. While Hamilton’s salary and winnings are lower at around £45 million, his endorsements of £15 million push him ahead of Verstappen. Earlier this year, Aston Martin reportedly offered Verstappen a lucrative £750 million deal to cover the remainder of his career, to which his response was one of surprise at the significant sum.

Verstappen has since confirmed his commitment to Red Bull for the upcoming season, having signed a contract extension until 2028, with reports suggesting the deal is valued at approximately £40 million per season.

Sky has recently reduced the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, providing savings of £192 to members and offering access to over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL, and more. Additionally, Sky will broadcast a minimum of 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 matches compared to previous seasons.
