-

Sky has made a surprising announcement by bringing back its beloved channel, Sky One, which is set to return to screens later this month. The channel was previously discontinued in 2021. The relaunch promises viewers a lineup of engaging comedy and entertainment programs, including new shows like “The Dyers’ Caravan Park” and “Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.”

Additionally, fan-favorites such as “Rob & Romesh Vs.,” “The Paper,” and “Ted” will be part of the channel’s offerings, which will be accessible on channel 106. Sky One will also feature “Saturday Night Live UK,” scheduled to debut later this year.

Replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max, the reintroduced channel will consolidate a diverse range of entertainment content in one place, simplifying the viewing experience for audiences.

Carli Kerr, the Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed, “Our aim is to enhance the viewing experience for Sky TV customers by curating the shows they love. Building on the legacy of Sky One, the channel will be a unique destination known for its boldness and vibrancy, showcasing new Sky Originals like ‘The Dyers’ Caravan Park,’ returning favorites such as ‘Rob & Romesh Vs.,’ and serving as the home for the highly anticipated ‘Saturday Night Live UK.'”

Sky One is set to launch on channel 106 on Tuesday, February 24. This channel update coincides with Sky’s upcoming major event, as the company hinted at significant developments in a recent communication.

Mirror Online has been invited to the event in London’s West End, where live updates on the announcements will be provided. The event is scheduled to commence at around 10 am on February 11, generating anticipation and speculation about the surprises that may be revealed.
