Arsenal’s owner, Stan Kroenke, is celebrating a tremendous season with his wealth surging by £11 billion. The Gunners are leading the charge in the Premier League, with a significant six-point advantage over Manchester City. Their impressive form, marked by eight wins in ten games, justifies the club’s hefty £250 million investment in players like Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, and Eberechi Eze.
Kroenke’s fortune now stands at a staggering £17.7 billion, a remarkable increase from around £6.4 billion just four years ago. Much of his wealth stems from a vast property portfolio, including 60 million square feet of commercial real estate and over 1.6 million acres of ranches in the US and Canada.
Aside from Arsenal, Kroenke owns various sports franchises, such as the NBA’s Denver Nuggets, the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche, and MLS team the Colorado Rapids. He also has ownership of the Los Angeles Rams, which he relocated from St. Louis to California in 2016.
Despite previous criticism from fans due to Arsenal’s lack of success, recent times have seen a resurgence under Mikel Arteta, positioning the club as serious title contenders. The team’s robust defense and set-piece prowess have been instrumental in their success, showcased by a recent 3-0 victory over Slavia Prague.
Arteta praised his players’ relentless mentality, with Arsenal equaling a club record for consecutive clean sheets dating back to 1903. The team’s determination and hunger for success bode well for their quest to secure the league title for the first time since the Invincibles season in 2003/04.
In a strategic move, Sky has lowered the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle ahead of the 2025/26 season, offering members savings of £192 and access to over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL, and more. Sky plans to broadcast a minimum of 215 live Premier League games next season, a significant increase from previous seasons, providing fans with more extensive coverage of top-tier football action.
