Amazon shoppers ‘nodding off’ in ‘comfortable’ and ‘sturdy’ £38 garden chair

Amazon shoppers are praising a zero gravity garden chair that’s “comfortable and sturdy.” With springtime finally here, many people are looking to get their outdoor spaces ready for some sun – and Amazon might have just the thing.

The Straame Garden Zero Gravity Chair is currently available on Amazon for £37.99, down from £39.99. The chair, which does not need to be assembled, features an adjustable headrest pillow and anti-slip feet.

Amazon’s product description reads: “Let your body experience extreme comfort and stress relief sensation with the zero gravity outdoor chair. Fully adjustable to meet your needs, it goes up to 170 degrees, perfect for the after-lunch nap on holidays.

“Lean back in the chair to find the ideal position while your legs elevate. Once you found the right posture and feel comfortable, lock it up! The star head knob lock will allow you to modify the recline anytime you want. All you have left to do is relax.”

It is important to note that Amazon warns “do not” leave the chair outside in the rain. It adds to always cover the chair when not in use if left outside.

The garden chair has an overall rating of 4.5 stars, having racked up rave reviews from impressed shoppers online. Among them, one person said: “Excellent value for money. The chairs are well made and very comfortable. Also very easy to use/assemble. They fold away extremely well making them compact.”

A second shopper wrote: “Amazing, great quality I’m 6 feet 8 inches tall and plenty of room for me. They look high end.” A third added: “Nice looking, comfortable and sturdy.”

A fourth impressed shopper said: “Love these outdoor recliners. The quality is fabulous and strong and the holders are perfect. Great value for money!! Spot on!”

A fifth wrote: “These chairs are very comfortable easy to nod off in. Size is just right to fit in wooden box, easy for friends and family to pick up, very portable. Easy to clean due to the quality and sturdiness.”

Pleased with the chair, a sixth added: “Just as good as picture, these chairs are so comfortable to relax on in the garden, the little table at the side makes them just perfect, fits drinks, phones on and the collapse well for storage, well worth the money.”

Another said: “Perfect chairs for summer garden days. The advantage with these chairs to some others is the drinks holder. The mesh seat material allows the skin to breathe while still enjoying the sunshine. Easy to clean and folds away nicely for storage.”

However, not everyone was quite so impressed with the product, with one person saying: “Got them in April it’s now only August and they are already rusting.”

A second wrote: “From the beginning the chairs were not able to stay in a position that wasn’t all the way reclined or all the way upright, an annoyance but we stuck with them.

“Unfortunately with little use one them has broke in under a year. Poor quality plastic mechanism snapped and I ended up feet in the air and head on the ground.”
