Currently reduced from £13 to £7.80, it’s super-lightweight and looks and feels invisible on the skin, and also includes skin boosters such as vitamin E and hyaluronic acid.
Ultrasun SPFs are a hit among beauty insiders for their reliable formulas and high UVA ratings, and this mist is no exception. It’s slightly more powerful than Garnier’s aerosol, providing a more thorough coating, yet it remains incredibly lightweight – plus it can be used on the scalp too, an area often overlooked. Australian brand Ultra Violette has made sun protection trendy again with its sleek packaging and innovative formulas that cater to everyone (our beauty editor Laura can’t get enough of its latest mineral face SPF). Unlike the others in this list, this one features a pump dispenser rather than an aerosol and has a water-like consistency, making it ideal for dry skin. La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Fresh Mist SPF50 is a fantastic choice for oily skin as it helps to mattify and reduce shine while also boosting your sun protection. Like many La Roche-Posay products, it’s also suitable for sensitive skin. It’s widely available at various retailers, including Boots, Amazon and Lookfantastic, but the cheapest we’ve found it currently is on Escentual, down to £12.02.
If you’re looking for an SPF mist with proper skincare benefits, this NIP+FAB one, priced at £29.95, gets our vote. It contains trending skincare ingredients peptides, with shoppers saying it has their faces looking “plumper and dewy“.
One from another top Aussie SPF brand, this cute mist, currently £17, not only sets make-up but also gives skin a lovely glow, and is perfect for top up. Shoppers also report how good it is for sensitive skin, saying it doesn’t irritate rosacea.
