Celebrity Big Brother’s Chris Hughes has slammed Ella Rae Wise in a brutal rant on the ITV show’s latest episode, branding his fellow housemate as “jealous”. Tension has been building in the house between Chris and Ella over Chris’ close bond with JoJo Siwa.
It came to a head in last night’s episode as Ella appeared to take a dig at Chris and JoJo, saying: “I just felt, and this is my personal opinion, there are social climbers in this industry, and I think he would benefit a hell of a lot off her.”
Later on in the episode, Chris opened up to JoJo and Jack P. Shepherd about Chris, telling them that she pretends to like him.
“Ella by the way is so jealous – it’s f**king weird,” he said. “It’s not normal. She hates JoJo, she pretends to like me. What’s weird with her – I’m so nice to her, give her the time of day every day, speak to her, ask her how she’s doing.
“But then she just dismisses and goes into her own world.”
In tonight’s episode, Chris breaks down over accusations from his housemates that he’s playing a game.
Speaking to Big Brother in a clip shared on Late and Live, Chris said while crying: “I’m literally in here, I’m just living, I’m just being me. I had toxic stuff and I had bad energy, it just brings you down.”
Chris’ brother Ben later called in to Late and Live to insist that it wasn’t an act, revealing that his friendship with Ella has “threatened the housemates” a bit.
On Lorraine today, he also said that Ella is “jealous” of that friendship. “It’s not very nice seeing your little brother upset about people accusing him of something which he’s not doing. So yes, it’s not very nice at the moment to watch,” he told presenter Christine Lampard.
“In my personal point of view, I think she got a little bit jealous of the friendship between Chris and JoJo.
“She did wonder why she wasn’t part of that friendship due to them being a younger age, a lot younger than most in the house. But I do believe that Daley has left the biggest bombshell and blown things out of the water.”
