“D4vd Cancels Tour Amid Tragic Investigation”

-

D4vd has decided to cancel his tour following the initiation of an investigation into the tragic death of a 15-year-old girl, Celeste Rivas. The teenager’s decomposed body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla car that was registered under the musician’s name.

According to sources, a choice was made on Thursday to call off the remaining two scheduled shows in the United States. D4vd, aged 20, was originally scheduled to perform tonight in San Francisco and then have another show in Los Angeles on Saturday. Additionally, it has been indicated that he will not be present at an upcoming event at the Grammy Museum in Downtown Los Angeles next Wednesday, which was meant to celebrate his album, Withered.

A spokesperson confirmed that D4vd is actively cooperating with law enforcement in their investigative efforts. The singer’s representative stated, “D4vd has been made aware of the situation. Although he is currently on tour, he is fully collaborating with the authorities.”

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) informed The Mirror US that on September 17, 2025, detectives conducted a search at a specific location in connection with the tragic death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Various pieces of evidence were retrieved and are set to undergo analysis by investigators in the upcoming days.

Celeste, who had been reported missing from Lake Elsinor, California, in April 2024, was discovered decomposing in the Tesla vehicle, which was linked to the musician under his real name, David Anthony Burke. The car, bearing Texas license plates, was towed from the Hollywood Hills region after being abandoned for five days.

The deceased girl’s mother expressed her belief that the body found belonged to her daughter, based on the description provided by the police, including a distinctive tattoo on the finger with the inscription “Shh…” and the clothing worn. She mentioned to TMZ that Celeste had a previous relationship with an individual named David.

Reports from The Sun indicated that a song titled Celeste was released on SoundCloud in 2023 and credited to D4vd. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner mentioned that the body was dressed in a tube top and black leggings, with reports suggesting that the remains were considerably decomposed and not fully intact.

While the cause of death has not been disclosed, the LAPD noted that the investigation is treating the matter as a standard death investigation. In a statement to People Magazine, the LAPD spokesperson confirmed that a search warrant was executed at a local address related to Celeste’s demise, with additional evidence being gathered for further analysis.

The LAPD spokesperson reiterated that the investigation is actively pursuing leads to ascertain the circumstances surrounding Celeste’s death. Previous statements from the LAPD highlighted the discovery of possible human remains in a vehicle, leading to an ongoing death investigation with the potential to transition into a homicide inquiry.

No information has been provided regarding D4vd’s representative’s response to inquiries from The Mirror.
