Elizabeth Hurley has shared a cryptic video with Billy Ray Cyrus just days after the pair went public with their relationship. The pair sent celebrity fans into meltdown when they announced their relationship on Easter Sunday with a romantic snap.
Liz, 59, and Billy, 63, shared a snap of them kissing on Instagram which Liz captioned “Happy Easter” tagged with a love heart, as friends and fans rushed to congratulate them.
Not keeping the relationship so secret anymore, the Austin Powers star posted with her new partner yet again. This time, she posted a video of herself and Billy in a car riding into the sunset with a flag flying behind them. Often symbolising new beginnings and symbolising the start of a “new forever” could she be hinting they’ve taken the relationship one step further?
However, she didn’t want to give too much away, as she simply captioned the post with a love heart emoji.
The couple can be seen driving through a ranch, with a U.S. flag attached to the roof – as she tagged her partner in the photos. She also included two solo pictures in the Instagram “photo dump” as she posed in a white top and blue jeans.
Fans flooded to the comments of the post, as one wrote: “you two look so happy together and I am super Happy for you and the legend Billy Ray.” A second fan penned: “Country air looks good on you.”
When the couple announced the shock news this weekend, Liz’s son Damien was quick to post a celebration emoji and a heart emoji, however Billy’s children decided to stay quiet on the romance.
Billy Ray reportedly has a strained relationship with his kids – with Trace Cyrus posting an open letter to his dad earlier this year to say the family were “genuinely worried” about him.
“Since my earliest memories all I can remember is being obsessed with you and thinking you were the coolest person ever. I wanted to be just like you. The day you adopted me was the happiest day of my life,” he shared in the letter.
“Sadly the man that I wanted so desperately to be just like I barely recognize now. It seems this world has beaten you down and it’s become obvious to everyone but you.
“You may be upset with me for posting this but I really could care less at this point. Me and the girls have been genuinely worried about you for years but you’ve pushed all of us away.”
He then added: “Noah desperately has wanted you to be a part of her life and you haven’t even been there for her. That’s your baby girl. She deserves better. Somehow just like me she still idolizes you though.”
