Emily Atack has delighted fans as she shared rare snaps of her baby son Barney and her boyfriend Alistair Garner.
TV star Emily, 35, welcomed her adorable son Barney into the world in June last year. Emily tends to keep her family out of the spotlight but has given her followers a rare glimpse at her senior consultation beau and their adorable son, who turns one next month.
The first snap sees her cosying up to Aa topless Alistair as they hit the beach together. Emily looked radiant as she had a touch up makeup on – but let her sunkissed skin and gorgeous blonde wavy locks take centre stage.
Another image sees the proud mum carrying her baby son Barney in a sling as she soaks up the stunning view of the beach in Mevagissey, Cornwall. The adorable little boy is donning a striped outfit along with a beige cap and sweet black sandals on his feet. Meanwhile, Emily is wearing a white oversized shirt along with matching shorts and has her hair in a half-up-half-down style.
She also posted a snap of Alistair wearing the baby sling with their beloved son inside as they stroll through a hilly street in the picturesque Cornish village. And another photo sees the father-son duo hit the beach as Alistair is holding Barney, who looks excited as he faces the sea.
Another rare snap of the tot sees him wearing a striped t-shirt and blue shorts with a striped bucket hat as he sits in the basinet of his buggy, which has been cleverly placed on the cobbled beach next to a picnic set up for his parents.
As the mum-of-one posted the photos to her Instagram page, she wrote in the caption: “Last minute trip to magical Mevagissey. Can’t quite explain how perfect it was. Barney loves pasties”.
Fans were quick to gush over the sweet family photos in the comments as one wrote: “That pasty looks fabulous! Welcome to Cornwall” followed by a heart eye emoji. Another said: “Cherish the moments” and a third wrote: “Beautiful pics! My Nan lives there, beautiful place”.
Actress Emily tends to keep her family life away from the spotlight, rarely sharing photos of her adorable baby son and her partner.
However, in November, she opened up about her romance to Alistair – who she began dating in 2023, but the pair have known each other for years.
Talking to The Times, Emily admitted to feeling ‘lonely’ before finding love with Alistair. She said: “I feel like my whole life had been building up to that moment, not just getting a part in that show but also my personal life. It feels like the stars have aligned. That is genuinely how it feels.”
She added: “I used to pray to God that I would end up with somebody who made me feel safe, and I’m safe with Al now.” During the interview, Emily said that once Rivals finished filming, she was by Alistair’s side and supported him while his father was dying.
At that moment, something was born inside them as she recalled: “We were together at the deathbed and then afterwards we left the room and hugged. We held each other for about 20 minutes and we just knew. This was love. This was real.”
