Fortnite early patch notes for update 34.40 – new weapons, TMNT crossovers, Star Wars hints and more

Must read

Before the new season arrives, there’s one more Fortnite update to go, and it’s likely to roll out a heap of new teases to the incoming Star Wars invasion of the island.

Fortnite has enjoyed an incredibly fun season in Chapter 6 Season 2, but change appears to be on the horizon. A new Star Wars-themed mini-season is expected to directly follow it, and though the OG Season 3 Battle Pass and Sabrina Carpenter Music Pass will follow it into the new update, it’ll be a major change for the game that players will be excited to see.

We have to get there first, though, and there’s still one more update worth seeing through to cap off a season of Lawlessness, throwbacks and that me espresso. So, what can we expect from the next update, better known as update 34.40? Here’s everything we’ve been able to collate as Fortnite early patch notes.

There have been a few leaks about the incoming update, and even though there’s a lot more out there concerning the incoming arrival of the Chapter 6 Season 3 release date, we can still expect a couple of extra details to come to the game ahead of the total changeover. Here’s what has leaked for the Fortnite early patch notes for update 34.40, in leaks that we covered when we first took a look at update 34.40:

There isn’t much to go on this update, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t glean a few details about what we can expect. Here’s what’s marked as “Fixed in Next Game Update” on the Fortnite Trello board:

…That’s it. It’s not much to go off, and there is all of nothing to offer to players who are chasing changes in the core Battle Royale and Zero Build modes, but it’s at least shedding a little light on which of Epic Games’ resolutions will make it to Fortnite in the incoming update.
