Toxii, 31, started her body modification journey just four years ago. Since then, she’s had several procedures—some so extreme that she had to see doctors and psychologists before going ahead with them. One of these extreme modifications was amputating her nose.
She is the first woman in the world to have her nose removed purely for cosmetic reasons—something most of us would never consider. But for her, it was just one step in a much bigger body transformation. And she’s not finished yet. “I have many more to come,” she says.
Along with her nose, she’s modified her tongue, ears, had implants behind her ears and even modified her intimate parts, and undergone scarification—a permanent body modification where the skin is cut, burned or branded to create textured or raised scars.
Her body is almost unrecognisable from what it once was. She is completely covered head to toe in tattoos, and Toxii, who is originally from Belgium, also has ‘horns’ implanted into her forehead, pitch-black eyeballs, a split tongue, and no earlobes or upper ears – completely reshaping her natural appearance.
However, what really came as a shock is that she keeps all her body parts in jars. “I have all my body parts in little jars.”
Unsurprisingly, she draws a lot of attention – especially online. One of her TikTok videos reached over a million views. “Sometimes people are scared,” she told Need To Know. Others are rude. Some try to understand her. But after years of public comments and stares, she says she’s learned to grow thick skin.
She has even appeared in TikTok interviews, where people question her inspiration of the body transformation, and the most painful – which wouldn’t come as a surprise, is the removal of her nose.
A comment on her social media read “Just one question… why?” while others who don’t agree are more rude with their comments saying “and hell is waiting for you with open doors.”
But the comments aren’t all bad, she also has people defending her. A comment read “The perfect woman does exist.”
