Additionally, there is a chance that Schaefer may represent Canada in the upcoming world junior championships in December and January, following his recovery from a collarbone injury sustained during last year’s tournament. His participation in Canada’s world junior summer showcase has been instrumental in his return to the ice and gaining valuable game experience.
