JoJo Siwa has revealed the “special name” close friend and Celebrity Big Brother housemate Chris Hughes has for her as she headed back to the US.
Chris and JoJo’s close friendship was the talking point of the latest series of the ITV show, and things took an even bigger turn when it was revealed the Dance Moms star dumped her partner Kath Ebbs during the show’s wrap party. JoJo has now landed back in the US as fans speculated she was wearing Chris’ hoodie and beanie after playing tennis and hanging out with him and his friends before travelling home.
Now, the 21-year-old’s latest TikTok has had fans buzzing as she refers to the Love Island star as a “special person”. JoJo took part in the TikTok trend in which users reveal how they’re referred to by different people in their life.
Over a video of her smiling with a Sunday roast, JoJo penned: “JoJo Siwa to most, Jojge to family… Seaweed to my best friend,” and the final line revealed: “Joelle to special people in my life.”
Fans flooded to the comments of the video, as one questioned: “Ok, but what does Chris call you?” Chris himself then responded in the comments, as he penned: “Joseph/Joelle,” which is what JoJo said special people in her life refer to her as.
Fans went wild as they responded to Chris, with one writing: “I’M NOT CRYING THE NATION IS!” JoJo herself replied to Chris’ comment, as she said: “Ughhhh, I forgot to put Joseph.”
On Monday, Chris and JoJo appeared on This Morning for a joint interview where they addressed the status of their relationship.
Quizzed by host Ben Shephard about her friendship with Chris possibly turning into something more romantic, newly single JoJo admitted that things are platonic but hinted things could change in the future. “So it’s platonic right now, but would you like it to be romantic JoJo? He’s a gorgeous boy,” Ben pushed.
“Erm, look. He is a great guy,” JoJo began in her reply. “It is platonic. We have a lot of fun together. Life is life and I don’t know any future of anything. But I’m really grateful for our dynamic and our bond that we have and whatever life does, life will do.”
