“Putin Warned of Nuclear Strike on UK: Map Reveals Targets”

-

Vladimir Putin has received a warning from an associate to use nuclear weapons in the UK, and a recent map indicates the specific locations where this action could occur.

These alarming proposals were presented by 73-year-old advisor Sergei Karaganov, known as ‘Professor Doomsday’. Holding the position of honorary chairman of the Russian Council for Foreign and Defence Policy, he advocates for extreme measures to prevent any potential conflicts between the US and Russia.

Additionally, television personality Vladimir Solovyov, a vocal proponent of nuclear strikes, made provocative remarks on a TV show suggesting bombing both Oxford and Cambridge to eliminate the elite British individuals and their educational institutions. He joked about the incompetence of those in power at these prestigious universities.

While the likelihood of Russia initiating a nuclear war against the UK seems low, the potential impact on British towns and cities is a concerning thought.

NuclearSecrecy.com features a tool called the Nuke Map, designed by Alex Wellerstein, a science and nuclear weapons expert at the Stevens Institute of Technology. The site offers simulations, including an 800-kiloton nuclear weapon reportedly in Russia’s possession.

Based on projections, a nuclear explosion over Cambridge would result in significant devastation, affecting surrounding areas like Grantchester, Milton, Teversham, and Cambridge University.

The Nuke Map explains that the nuclear fireball’s size determines the ground damage, with intense destruction within its immediate vicinity. The blast radius would extend further, causing structural collapses, fires, and widespread casualties in residential and commercial areas.

The aftermath of the nuclear blast includes severe burns, injuries, and potential disabilities extending into the wider region surrounding Cambridge.

Similar catastrophic effects are predicted for Oxford, with the central area facing instant obliteration, including Oxford University’s main campus. The damage would extend to neighboring areas such as Woodstock and Bicester.

Despite the grim projections, the UK Government emphasizes the role of its nuclear deterrent in averting such disasters. The nation’s independent nuclear deterrent has been in place for over six decades, ensuring national security and safety for the UK and its NATO allies.

The Royal Navy’s continuous at-sea deterrence strategy involves nuclear-armed ballistic missile submarines patrolling the seas undetected, ready to counter extreme threats. This deterrent aims to maintain peace, deter aggression, and safeguard national and allied interests.

The continuous at-sea deterrent is considered the most effective and cost-efficient means of deploying the UK’s independent nuclear deterrent.
