Vladimir Putin has received a stark warning that not utilizing nuclear weapons across Europe would be seen as a grave mistake and has been advised to target the UK.
These alarming statements were made by Sergei Karaganov, also known as Professor Doomsday, who serves as the honorary chairman of the Russian Council for Foreign and Defence Policy. He strongly believes that the deployment of tactical atomic weapons is the only way to prevent a larger conflict between Russia and the US.
Karaganov is aligning himself with other supporters of Putin and voices within the Kremlin who are advocating for an escalation of nuclear actions in the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and in dealings with NATO. This comes after indications of a change in stance from US President Donald Trump, who has suggested that Ukraine could potentially regain all territories seized by Putin’s forces.
Speaking on Russian state television, Karaganov emphasized that while the use of nuclear weapons is a grave act, not utilizing them could lead to even greater consequences, including a major war. He asserted that notions of avoiding nuclear conflict are outdated and that Europe needs to be confronted with decisive measures to ensure a return to stability.
Notably, prominent TV personality Vladimir Solovyov, a fervent advocate for nuclear attacks, openly called for bombing prestigious British universities like Oxford and Cambridge to eliminate what he perceives as the controlling British elite. Solovyov questioned the true power holders in the UK, dismissing the government and the Royal Family as mere figureheads under the influence of an elusive ‘establishment’.
Solovyov’s provocative statements underscore a growing sentiment within certain circles in Russia that advocate for aggressive actions to assert dominance and dismantle perceived threats emanating from Europe.
