“Search Intensifies for Missing Alberta Boy, 5”

-

In southwestern Alberta, the search for a five-year-old boy, Darius Macdougall, has entered its third day without any success. Despite two nights of extensive searches, the boy remains missing after he failed to return from a walk with six family members near Island Lake Provincial Recreation Area, located south of Crowsnest Pass.

Authorities have advised the public to steer clear of the area and allow professionals to handle the search operation. Darius is described as a four-foot-tall child with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue-grey hoodie and sweatpants. Law enforcement has highlighted that the boy has autism, which could impede his ability to interact with others.

Efforts to locate the missing child are concentrated in the vicinity south of Highway 3 near Island Lake Provincial Recreation Area. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any relevant information to assist in the search for Darius.
