Shocking moment ‘road rage’ motorist swings PUNCHES at recovery truck driver

An irate motorist was caught on video swinging punches at a recovery truck driver in a shocking row that broke out at a roundabout.

An onlooker caught the moment the raging man, wearing a beige top, threw a swing at the man in hi-vis, before the recovery truck driver shoved him back. The raging driver threw more punches at the man in hi-viz at the roundabout bust up in Southall, in west London, last Wednesday. It is unclear what ignited the terrifying road fight but the disagreement appeared to continue even as an onlooker tried to break the pair up.

The driver had stopped as he was about the emerge onto a roundabout and the recovery truck driver was behind him. Other furious drivers were heard blaring their horns behind the brawl as they were getting impatient.

One driver, wearing a black top, eventually jumped out of his own vehicle to break up the fighting pair and try to calm both drivers down. Footage caught this brave man walk the punching driver back to his car but the motorist in hi-viz followed as they appeared to continue arguing.

The raging driver eventually got back into his own car before the recovery truck driver started walking back to his. The man in hi-viz appeared to touch his face as he was walking back but it is unclear if he was hit or hurt in the shocking incident.

This footage went viral online as people commented their own thoughts on the terrifying road fight. One person said: “Why punching!!!! Talk man.” Another said: “Well done that man stepping in!” The Mirror has reached out to the Metropolitan Police for comment.

This has not been the first time a shocking apparent road rage incident has been caught on camera and shared online. Two cars clashed in London after a BMW driver refused to let a car into a lane.

In the footage, the grey vehicle is seen jostling with the smaller red Nissan Micra to go in front. When the driver of the red car refused to let it in, the BMW driver continue to fight for their place on the road.

The cars were left side-by-side for a few seconds during the incident in Hanwell, near Ealing, west London. Eventually, the Nissan motorist was forced to back down and let the other car go first. The BMW did not drive away without leaving an impression as he stuck his arm out of the window to make a rude gesture.
