Sky has unveiled an exciting update for Sky Q users, introducing the popular U app to the platform. Initially available on Sky Glass and Stream, the U app offers on-demand access to a variety of services like U&Dave, U&DRAMA, U&W, U&YESTERDAY, and U&Eden.
After a long wait, Sky Q customers can now enjoy exclusive shows such as The Marlow Murder Club, Outrageous, Bergerac, Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake, Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, The Chelsea Detective, Ladies in Black, and The Count of Monte Cristo through the U app.
The app includes features like a user-friendly search function, categorized content for personalized recommendations, and a Watchlists section for saving shows to watch later.
Formerly known as UKTV, U underwent a significant rebranding last year to align with channels like Dave, Yesterday, and Drama. Sky Q users can access the U app without the need for any updates or restarts.
