“St. Louis Blues Sign Veteran Forward Milan Lucic”

The St. Louis Blues have officially announced the signing of forward Milan Lucic on a professional tryout basis. Lucic’s most recent NHL appearance was during the 2023-24 season with the Boston Bruins, where he had two assists in four games. In November 2023, the 37-year-old player took an indefinite break from the team and later participated in the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program. Following his completion of the program, Lucic has been reinstated by the NHL.

Born in Vancouver, Lucic has accumulated 233 goals and 586 points throughout his 17-year career, spanning 1,177 regular-season games with the Los Angeles Kings, Edmonton Oilers, and Calgary Flames. Standing at six feet three inches and weighing 236 pounds, Lucic has also contributed 29 goals and 77 points in 136 playoff matchups, including a Stanley Cup victory with Boston in 2011. He was selected by the Bruins in the second round of the 2006 NHL Draft.
