In the late 1990s, Felix’s father, Sam Aliassime, migrated from Togo to Canada, where he found opportunities that seemed unreachable back home. A pivotal moment came in 2019 when Auger-Aliassime had a breakthrough year, prompting him and his father to brainstorm ways to give back to the community beyond the realm of tennis. This led to the inception of their initiative, #FAAPointsForChange, where Felix donates $5 for every point he scores in a match to support education and child welfare in Togo.
