Elif Ozcan joyfully accepted a marriage proposal in Bolu, Turkey, but sadly collapsed at home a couple of days later, prompting an emergency response. Despite efforts, she could not be revived and was subsequently laid to rest in Alıçören, Caydurt on September 9.
Local reports confirm that Elif’s cause of death was a heart attack. Known for her passion for music and live performances, Elif was remembered by a friend as someone who embraced life fully and brought happiness to those around her. In a separate tragedy, a 28-year-old footballer and expectant father, Maciej Białas, tragically passed away after collapsing following a football training session. Despite initial efforts to revive him, doctors discovered a clot leading to a heart attack, resulting in irreversible brain damage. Maciej, who was anticipating the arrival of his child, will be laid to rest in Gniezno, Poland.
The football community mourned Maciej’s loss, describing him as a dedicated player, teammate, and an inspiration both on and off the field. His commitment and positive influence were acknowledged by his former club, Kolejarz Czeremcha, where he was considered a homegrown talent who gave his all in every aspect of his life.
