“Wrexham Man Charged in Online Suicide Chemical Sales”

-

A man named Miles Cross, aged 33, residing in Wrexham, located in north Wales, has been taken into custody in January on suspicion of selling chemicals online that may have been linked to two apparent suicides. North Wales Police are currently looking into the deaths of two individuals associated with the purchase of four packages of the substance from an online platform. Cross was formally charged on Friday with four counts of intentionally engaging in activities that could promote or aid in the suicide of another person, as confirmed by law enforcement officials.

Malcolm McHaffie, representing the Crown Prosecution Service, stated, “Our decision to bring charges against Miles Cross for four counts of encouraging or aiding suicide comes after a thorough police inquiry into a business selling a certain substance through an online platform. Our legal team has meticulously reviewed the evidence to ensure the case is ready for court proceedings and that it aligns with the public interest to pursue criminal charges. We have collaborated closely with the North Wales Police throughout their investigative process.”
