Notably, the double points offer extends to all gift cards available at Tesco, not limited to Tesco-specific ones. These bonus points will be automatically credited to the member’s Clubcard account upon purchase.
According to Ban Mahsoub, Partnerships Director at Tesco Insurance and Money Services, this promotion offers an opportunity to find the perfect Christmas gift while earning rewards. With two points for every £1 spent on gift cards, it’s a win-win situation for both gift-givers and recipients.
Tesco boasts approximately 24 million Clubcard members who earn points through various purchases. In addition to groceries and fuel, Clubcard points can be collected on Tesco Mobile top-ups, Tesco credit card spending, and transactions made using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card. Accumulated points can be redeemed for Clubcard vouchers starting at 150 points, each worth £1.50 to be used at Tesco.

By identifying a six-digit number starting with 25 on such items and interpreting the numbers in reverse order, shoppers can determine the deal’s expiry date and plan their purchases accordingly.
