A mother of four was fatally shot by her former boyfriend, described as “obsessed,” who abandoned her in a shopping center parking lot. The victim, Savannah Kulla, 29, was discovered deceased outside a shopping center after Anthony Deschepper, 38, allegedly left her body at the location. The incident occurred in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, where Deschepper had abducted Savannah and their one-year-old daughter. Fortunately, the baby was later found unharmed with relatives after Deschepper dropped her off. Law enforcement authorities promptly issued an alert and initiated a search for the suspect.
Following a pursuit, local police and Ontario’s Special Investigations Unit located Deschepper at a gas station in Niagara Falls around 2:30 am the next day. Deschepper was fatally shot by a police officer during an encounter, and despite attempts by paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is ongoing, including a scheduled post-mortem examination.
Although a firearm was recovered at the scene, there is no evidence indicating that Deschepper discharged it. Additionally, a woman associated with Deschepper was arrested at the scene for undisclosed reasons. The identity and connection of this woman to Deschepper have not been disclosed.
Savannah’s mother, Karen, revealed that her daughter had recently ended her relationship with Deschepper due to his obsessive behavior. Karen expressed her grief over the tragic loss of her daughter, describing Savannah as a dedicated mother to her four children. Savannah and Deschepper shared a one-year-old child, while her three sons are in the care of their biological father. Karen emphasized relief that Deschepper is no longer a threat to the children.

The fundraiser highlighted Savannah’s unwavering love for her children and the void left by her untimely passing. The family aims to ensure the children receive the care, stability, and love that Savannah would have provided every day.
