Darts prodigy Luke Littler has endorsed Angry Ginge, a contestant on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here, predicting his success in the jungle. The 18-year-old, who is acquainted with the popular online personality Morgan Burtwistle, also teased a potential future excursion to Australia.
A dedicated Manchester United supporter, Burtwistle, the streamer, touched down at Brisbane airport this week in preparation for the show’s launch on November 16. Ant and Dec are set to grace ITV screens as the show’s hosts, with Burtwistle already positioned as the frontrunner to claim the jungle crown.
Meanwhile, Littler advanced to the knockout phase of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton after a convincing 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney as he defends his title. While anticipating his next opponent in the tournament, he is also looking forward to the commencement of the reality series in Australia.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler expressed confidence in Angry Ginge’s ability to excel in challenging conditions, stating, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known for a very long time. We’ll have to vote him on and see what he has to eat.”
Regarding his own potential participation in future editions of the show, Littler hinted at the possibility but emphasized the importance of a suitable offer. As for Angry Ginge, he was warmly received by fans and journalists upon his arrival in Australia, jokingly mentioning his camping skills and expressing hopes for a secure hotel stay to avoid encounters with spiders and wildlife.
In a YouTube video confirming his participation in the reality show, Angry Ginge shared his wish for Manchester United’s success in his absence, aiming for a second-place standing upon his return in early December. He humorously remarked, “I’m hoping I come out, Man Utd are second in the league and going for the title… Arsenal are dropping points.”
