The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department announced on Monday that it is looking into a fresh sexual battery accusation against hip-hop figure Sean (Diddy) Combs, who is presently serving a four-year jail term for offenses related to prostitution.
According to NBC News, a male music producer and publicist claimed that during a 2020 photoshoot at a Los Angeles warehouse, Combs exposed himself while masturbating and requested the accuser’s assistance. The accuser, whose identity is concealed in the police report, revealed that he did not disclose the incident for years due to feeling ashamed. It wasn’t until September of this year, shortly after Combs’ conviction on different charges, that he reported the incident to authorities in Largo, Fla.
Combs’ legal representative has not yet responded to requests for comments on the recent allegations. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department confirmed on Friday that they had obtained an official copy of the report from the Florida department and will be conducting an investigation into the claims.
Additionally, the report outlines an episode from March 2021 in which the accuser asserts that two individuals covered his head before Combs entered the room and labeled him as a snitch. Combs was found guilty in July of transporting his girlfriends and male sex workers across the country for drug-fueled sexual activities at various locations over an extended period. Despite being acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges that could have led to a life sentence, he is scheduled for release in May 2028, with the possibility of sentence reductions based on his involvement in substance abuse treatment and prison programs.
