“Hamilton, Leclerc Show Solidarity Amid Ferrari Struggles”

-

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have expressed their solidarity with Ferrari engineers and fans on Instagram following chairman John Elkann’s advice to focus more on driving and less on talking.

Last weekend brought mixed results for Ferrari in motorsport. While the team secured both the Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championships at the World Endurance Championship in Bahrain, the Brazilian Grand Prix turned into a disaster. Hamilton’s race ended prematurely after colliding with Franco Colapinto’s Alpine, damaging his SF-25 beyond repair. Similarly, Leclerc’s race was cut short on the sixth lap due to an incident involving Oscar Piastri and Kimi Antonelli at Turn One.

As a result of the double-DNF, Ferrari now finds itself in fourth place in the World Championship standings, trailing Mercedes by 26 points and Red Bull by four. Elkann’s response to the disappointing performance was straightforward, emphasizing the importance of unity within the team for success.

In response to Elkann’s remarks, Hamilton and Leclerc indirectly addressed the situation on Instagram. Hamilton expressed gratitude for the support after the tough race in Brazil and vowed to continue pushing forward. Leclerc acknowledged the challenges faced in São Paulo and stressed the need for unity to improve the team’s standings in the remaining races of the season.
