“Playground Tragedies Strike Russia and UK: Investigations Underway”

A six-year-old girl sustained a brain injury when a children’s playground ride malfunctioned in Ulan-Ude city, Russia’s Siberia region. The incident occurred during a birthday party at the Kovboy play center, where three girls were on a carousel. A metal part shaped like a tree fell on one of the children, causing her to lose consciousness while the others ran away.

The Russian Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal investigation into the incident. The committee stated that a significant piece of the carousel structure collapsed on the girl, leading to injuries that required hospitalization. The victim was rushed to the hospital with a traumatic brain injury and concussion, as reported locally. The individuals responsible for the hazardous ride could potentially face a maximum of two years in prison.

This unfortunate event follows the recent mourning for a 12-year-old boy, Logan Carter, who tragically fell from a roundabout with a history of past incidents. Logan passed away at Wharton Recreation Ground in Winsford, Cheshire, after being treated by emergency responders. Reports suggest that Logan was thrown from the roundabout in the play area, with speculation that an e-bike may have been used to rotate it.

In a heartfelt statement, Logan’s family described him as a beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, cousin, and friend. They reminisced about his vibrant personality, infectious smile, and his ability to bring laughter to everyone around him. The family expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support during their time of grief as they mourn the loss of their cherished “blue-eyed boy.”
